What Say You About Ramadhan?

1. What is Ramadan?
A. Just for those who don't know Ramadan is the 9th month in of the Hijra year.
B. It is said that Ramadan got it's name becouse it fell in the hot season.
C. During this month were some of the hottest days of the year.
D. The world ramadan comes from an aribic word for dry and scorched due to much heat.

2. Why is ramadan special?
A. Ramadan is the month that the quran was first revealed {2:185}
B. Ramadan is also special becouse the gates of hell are locked and the devils are chained. {Saheeh Bukhari}
C. And ramadan is special becouse we fast during this month and receive many blessings, insha allah. {2:185}

3. What is fasting?
A. many people think that fasting is staying away from food and drink from Fujr to Mughrib...this is true but...fasting also means to stay away from bad speech and bad actions such as lying, backbitting, and cursing. {Saheeh Bukhari}

4. How do we fast?
A. eat suhoor befor the adan of salatul Fajr.
B. if you haven't already finished stop at the sound of the azdan.
C. during the day, read quran and do good deads.
d. Break your fast at the adan of maghrib
e. pray salatul maghrib
f. eat a yummy dinner, inshallah

5. How long do we fast?
A. we fast the whole month of ramadan.
B. sometimes the month is 29 days and sometimes it is 30 days. {Saheeh Muslim}

6. How do we know when the month is over?
A. we look for the new crescent moon.

7. What happens when ramadan is over?
A. we give Zakatul Fitr
B. we celebrate eid ul Fitr
